Cats have three names: the one the family uses daily, a more dignified name, and a secret name. It is this secret name that keeps felines deep in thought.
This tribe of cats (the Jellicles) are going to have their annual meeting where the tribe leader (Old Deuteronomy) will choose one of them will journey to the Heaviside layer to be reborn into a new life. And so begins our introduction to each of the cats. One by one they step forward to introduce themselves and audition for the role to be chosen. |
