Utah State Men's and Women's Honor Choir
2013 Utah Honor Choir
Each year, in January, students have the opportunity participate in the Utah Music Educator's Association Men's and Women's Honor Choir held at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. Announcements for these choirs begin in mid-October with applications due at the first of November. Students receive their music and a teaching CD after Thanksgiving, attend two area rehearsals in January, and rehearse in Salt Lake on Friday and Saturday with a Grand Festival Concert on Saturday afternoon. There are transportation, registration and lodging costs for this event, but the experience is well worth it.
