Power in Progress is a system that will allow you to track your progress in Choral and Vocal Music. When you progress, there is power. There is POWER happening in choir. POWER is in PROGRESS!
You are encouraged to work in all of the areas as you progress through the PiP system. You may pass off from any area at any time, but can only receive the award for the level when the previous level(s) has been completed. Signature books are available in the choir room. This choral and vocal music journey may take three years or more to complete; some will finish sooner. Keep your signature book in the choir room (in your music folder) and turn it in at the end of each year so that you can mark your progress. As each individual improves and progresses, we will improve and progress together. There is power in progress.

Jump StartMemorize.
During Jump Start, students memorize lists, goals and objectives. |
BeginnerDescribe.
During Beginner, students describe the elements found in the lists, goals and objectives memorized during Jump Start. |
IntermediateDemonstrate.
During Intermediate, students demonstrate the elements found in the lists, goals and objectives described during Beginner. |
AdvancedTeach.
During Advanced, students teach principles and the elements found in the lists, goals and objectives demonstrated during Intermediate. |
Master MusicianExtend.
During Master Musician, students expand and extend the concepts, principles, lists, goals and objectives that they have worked on during the Power in Progress system. |
